Technology

Technology in our sanctuary and facility exists to aid and enhance worship of God and the work of ministry, not to be a focal point in and of itself. We seek to utilize it in a manner that is not distracting, but effective, and have preserved the use of bulletins and hymnals also. However you are “wired,” we want worship, preaching, and service to be a means by which you can experience God’s love. We invite you to avail yourself of the technological resources we have.

Video & Audio:

We have a state of the art HD Audio Video system in our sanctuary. It utilizes an HDMI connection to facilitate audio and video reproduction via a ceiling mounted projector, retractible tensioned screen, and our audio system. The audio system also allows us to use several lapel and wireless handheld microphones. If you have instruments or other sources you need to utilize, it can accept XLR and 1/4″ inputs.
If you are planning to use our A/V system in a regular worship service, we use a MacBook running Keynote as our primary A/V source, and most anything on a flash drive can be run off of our MacBook. Keynote can run PowerPoint presentations, but adaptations may need to be made. We can play any DVD or CD using a separate DVD player. Short videos can also be imbedded right into the slide presentation used each Sunday for worship. We also have two open HDMI inputs, and adapters for Android or iOS devices.

WiFi and Cellular:

There is an open WiFi network available throughout our facility. We also have a Verizon cellular signal booster inside the facility. Cellular reception for most carriers is quite poor in the area where the church is located, but Verizon customers at least will have good signal inside or near the church.
